I don't take the time to write reviews but they 100% deserve it. I had a fantastic experience on a company event, the staff was awesome, on time, professional, cleaned my room each night, and the food was the best food at any event in a hotel I've ever been to. This feels more like a 5 star service on a 4 star hotel. I'd love to know how they hire such great people in this market. It felt like they have at least 500 people on staff. It's a very nice and huge property. I'd definitely recommend for corporate and family stays. View from my room in the morning.

The Omni Resort was outstanding as far as services and the peacefulness of the resort as a whole. Many food options (at hotel prices), shuttles for travel throughout the large resort, Little Sandy golf was great, etc. The only negative was the villa (Captain's Court 1017) needs updating - lack of water pressure and poor A/C put a bit of a damper on the vacation. I don't think our expectations were out of line with the prices paid at this resort. I am not sure what the other Villas are like so perhaps they are more updated? Otherwise we enjoyed the stay and the people were very friendly and helpful.

This review is for the Captain's Court Villas. From the outside, the villas look quite dated and in need of renovation. However, the unit we stayed in was quite updated on the interior and had a beautiful view of the dunes and the beach. There was plenty of space and it felt like an apartment/home. It was rather cold when we visited (40s/50s), and the downstairs of the unit got noticeably colder than upstairs, making it somewhat uncomfortable.

The Villas are like Condos and very spacious. All the rooms I saw were located on the beach. The ground floor does not have such a great view because of fencing and sand berms. Upper floors can see all of it. I think the Villas are three stories tall, consisting of three apartments. You get full access to the amenities at Omni, just up the road.

We stayed for our 25th anniversary. We chose the resort because we wanted to have a relaxed, stress-free week. We were not disappointed. We were upgraded to a top floor condo without asking, which turned out to be absolutely wonderful. The bed was the most comfortable bed we had ever experienced (we actually ordered one to replace ours when we got home). Everything we needed was available at the resort. We didn't have to leave for anything. The adult pool was wonderful with great food and beverage service, and the beach cabana rentals were very nice. The fitness centers were well equipped. The restaurants were fabulous as well.

In my experiance the villa was like a small apartment. Ample space king size bed, kitchen living area. Ideal, only thing was a small musty smell. But opened the windows and aired it out it was ok. Was there for a conference in the Ritz, but was enjoyable.

We stayed at Sandcastles Villa (Villas of Amelia Island). our Villa #315 was the best, from what we saw. the ocean view was beyond amazing, windows surrounding the entire Villa! very modern and spotlessly clean. We wanted to extend our stay ( we didn't want to leave) but the Villa was already booked for the next week. So we reserved the same Villa for April. Amelia Island is also what Florida used to be - Clean - beautiful - Southern - amazing beach - and friendly , happy people.

What a beautiful getaway! Our villa was wonderfully appointed for our family of 6. The views from our balcony were so pretty. The resort staff were very friendly and helpful. We rented a golf cart and drove around the plantation. The kids loved the pool, as well as the adults!! Perfect temperature and the staff at Oceanside were wonderful. The beach is pristine and the sunrises and sunsets we watched were so beautiful. We would return in a heartbeat!
